Twenty-somethings.com was inspired by three roommates who realized the shortage of magazines and webpages dedicated to people in their twenties.  While sharing bottles of Trader Joe’s wine, they would chat about what it meant to be in their twenties and how they wished there was something out there to help them connect with each other and share experiences and questions.  But after months of talk, the idea slowly faded…

And then on a train ride back from Philadelphia one gusty and bitter January day in 2007, one of the roommates envisioned twenty-somethings.com as a way to create that resource for her peers.  She set to writing and a few weeks later the site was up and running.

The goal of this website is to be a place where people in their twenties can look for ideas, learn the essential skills of the real world (like how to fake wine knowledge), and hopefully find inspiration in the process. Twenty-somethings.com aims to appeal to a broad range of activities and interests…and it’s a place to just have fun. Most of all, it’s a place aimed at YOU, letting you know that you’re not alone while trying to figure out your place in the world.
